Australia Remembers MemorialPrint Page
The memorial is a plinth which contains two plaques; one which remembers the 50th anniversary of the ending of World War Two was unveiled in 1995. The second plaque was erected on the 25th April 1996 to remember World War Two.
The plinth stands in front of the Queanbeyan and District Honour Roll.
"Australia Remembers, 1945 - 1995" was a program of activities organised by the Federal Government to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two.
