A plaque commemorates the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two.

The plaque states that a tree was planted in remembrance of the anniversary but this plaque appears to be sited near the Lone Pine which was planted on the 11th November 1995 and its plaque also contains a reference to "Australia Remembers".

"Australia Remembers, 1945-1995" was a program of activities organised by the Federal Government to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two.
