St Peter`s Lutheran College War MemorialPrint Page
The monument commemorates members of the college who died in service or were killed in action in World War Two.
The St Peters Lutheran College War Memorial consisted of a new £26000 dormitory designed by Dr Karl Langer as a memorial to Lutheran Servicemen who died in World War Two. The other part of the memorial given by Dr Langer is a 12ft. high obelisk made of Helidon sandstone believed to be the largest stone in Brisbane. A cross is carved in one side of the stone and on the other side are the names of servicemen who died in the war.
