Dear Monument Australia visitors, we are a self-funded, non-profit organisation, dedicated to recording monuments throughout Australia. Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially (in fact they are probably larger than those of many companies who exist for profit). In the past we have borne all the costs associated with maintaining the website but we are now having difficulties in paying the monthly expenses.
If Monument Australia is useful to you, please make a donation to keep this historical and educational resource available. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Dedication
2nd World War 1939 - 1945
This memorial is a tribute of honour and deep respect to our fallen comrades of the 2 / 25th Australian Infantry Battalion.
We especially remember those who thought of others before themselves, and gave their lives. In the firm belief that such would enable us to live out our earthly span in peace and security. May the loved ones they left behind always know the peace of God. Our motto "What we have we hold " is held in high esteem by all who served within the Battalion.
"At the going down of the sun, and in the morning , we will remember these men because of the spirit in which they gave. For them there is no sunset and no dawning - Their duty so nobly fulfilled."
" We will never forget"
