An "Australia Remembers" memorial commemorates those who served in World War Two. On the back of the memorial is an etched ship's porthole.

"Australia Remembers, 1945-1995" was a program of activities organised by the Federal Government to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two. 

Note: The Alice Springs RSL Club closed its doors indefinitely in 2017.
