Launceston Church Grammar School "In Memoriam" Honour RollPrint Page
The brass honour roll commemorates former students who died in service or were killed in action in World War Two. It lists 45 names.
The Second World War honour board of the Launceston Church Grammar School was unveiled yesterday by the Governor (Sir Ronald Cross). lt lists 45 names of former pupils who died on service. Names include that of Capt. N. H. Roff, former headmaster of the school who died in Timor on February, 1942. The new honour board was presented by the Old Launcestonians Association, and when completed will be surrounded by an elaborate carved frame.
