Claremont Teachers College MemorialPrint Page
The plaque was presented to the college by the State School Teachers Union commemorates teachers who died in service or were killed in action in World War Two.
The Roll of Honour was unveiled by the State President of the Returned Servicemens League (RSL), Mr F.C.Chaney on the 21st November 1952. The President of the Teacher's Union, Mr N.Sampson said that not only ex-students but teachers who had never attended the college were commemorated by the plaque.
