Quorn And District Roll of HonourPrint Page
The honour roll commemorates those from Quorn and District who served in World War Two.
Arrangements have been made for the Quorn and District Honour Roll,which has been prepared by the Corporation of Quorn, to be unveiled in the Town Hall, on Sunday afternoon, November 14, 1948. The unveiling ceremony will be conducted by the Mayor (Mr. Thompson). A short musical programme, interspersed with speeches , by leaders of various war time organisations, has been arranged. It is hoped that as many residents as possible will be at the ceremony to pay tribute to the members of various services. The proceedings will commence at 3 p.m. sharp.
