27-October-2018 (Bryan Cole)
Photographs supplied by Bryan Cole
The rest room commemorate the women from Angaston and District who served in World War Two.
A woman's rest centre is badly needed at Angaston and, through the resourcefulness of the women there, it is hoped building of one will start this year. The building will be known as the Women's Memorial Centre, and will be a tribute to the women from Angaston and surrounding districts who served in World War Two. Plans for the centre have been made during the past five years, during which funds have been collected, and the building will not be opened until it is free of debt.
