2 / 22nd Battalion - Lark Force.
In honoured memory of those who lost their lives in 1942 in the defence of Rabaul, at Tol Plantation, and later as Prisoners of War upon the sinking of the unmarked Japanese prison ship, the Montevideo Maru on the 1st July 1942.
