QANTAS Employees Memorial - Remembrance DrivewayPrint Page
A large bush rock with an older metal plaque and a newer brass plaque (1993), accompanied by a number of gum trees planted in four straight lines alongside the Hume Highway. This Memorial is a part of the Remembrance Driveway.
The Remembrance Driveway is on the Hume and Federal Highways between Sydney and Canberra this developed out of a desire to create a living memorial of trees to those who had served in World War Two, rather than construct more monuments.
