Dear Monument Australia visitors, we are a self-funded, non-profit organisation, dedicated to recording monuments throughout Australia. Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially (in fact they are probably larger than those of many companies who exist for profit). In the past we have borne all the costs associated with maintaining the website but we are now having difficulties in paying the monthly expenses.
If Monument Australia is useful to you, please make a donation to keep this historical and educational resource available. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Tabbita Roll of HonourPrint Page

The roll of honour commemorates those who served in World War Two.
On Saturday, 9th November, Tabbita hall was the scene of the largest gathering ever witnessed at Tabbita. The occasion was to celebrate the final function in the welcoming home of Tabbita servicemen by holding a banquet and unveiling the Roll of Honour and presentations to the servicemen. It was an occasion which will never be forgotten by the people and an event for the children who were present to remember in the years to come. The organisers and committee may well be proud of the success they worked so hard to gain.
The Riverine Grazier (Hay, NSW), 19 November 1946.
