Collingullie Honour RollPrint Page
The honour roll commemorates those from the district who served in World War Two.
At the final welcome home to former servicemen and women at Collingullie Mr. E. H. Graham, who was accompanied by Mrs. Graham, unveiled the Honor Roll containing 54 names. The function took the form of a banquet. Each guest was presented with a framed copy of "The Call to Arms" certificate. Mr A. Rudd presided, and after the Loyal toast, the silent toast to fallen comrades was observed. Mr. J. H. Smith, a soldier of the First World War, recited Lawrence Bunyan's lines "They shall not grow old."
