On 15/1/1886 This Site
Was Dedicated In The
Name Of School Of
Arts. The First Part
Of The Hall Was Built
Soon After And The
Library Was Transferred
From The Dragon Inn.
Extensions Were Added
Over The Years. After The
1914 - 18 World War The Hall
Was Dedicated To Those
Who Died And Became The
Cathcart War Memorial
Hall. A Ball Was Held On
8/10/55 To Celebrate The
Switching-On Ceremony For
Electricity To
Cathcart.
