The garden commemorates those who died in service or were killed in action during World War Two.  The stone pillar in the garden has a light fitted to the top. A plaque was placed in the garden by the Camden Historical Society during the bicentenary of Australia in 1988.

SYDNEY, Friday: The Prime Minister (Mr. Menzies) and Dame Pattie Menzies will visit Camden in the Macarthur electorate for the first time tomorrow. During the afternoon Mr. Menzles will open memorial gardens built by the Camden sub-branch of the R.S.L.

This memorial garden was donated by Mrs Arthur Macarthur-Onslow in memory of those of this District who fell in World War Two.
