The honour roll commemorates those from the District who served in World War Two.
Another landmark in the history of Brungle was passed on Saturday afternoon when the Honor Roll of district Servicemen and women was unveiled. About 100 people were present to witness the ceremony, which was performed by Mr. John McDonald, of Gundagai. During the unveiling ceremony Mr. McDonald was assisted by Mrs. F. C. Murphy, and at the conclusion a wreath, made by Mrs. E. R. McGruer, was placed in position by Mr. D. Hopman.of the Darbalara School.
