Memorial GatesPrint Page
The gates commemorate those who served in World War Two.
An imposing fence with Memorial Gates and Arch in front of the Memorial Hall (Memorial of World War 1), together with extensions to the existing supper room and kitchen of the Hall, is to be in the form of the Boomi War Memorial for World War 11. Such was the nature of the Memorial decided upon at a public meeting held on Saturday when Mr. F. Murphy, President of the Boomi Patriotic Fund, presided over a large and enthusiastic meeting.
North West Champion (Moree, NSW), 18 April 1946.
