Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially (in fact they are probably larger than those of many companies who exist for profit). The 7th Division Memorial Wall contains plaques which commemorate those units who served in the 7th Division during World War Two. Plaques on the wall include 2/5th Field Ambulance, 55/53rd Australian Infantry Battalion, 7th Division Engineers, 2/33rd Australian Infantry Battalion, 2/5th Field regiment, 2/6th Field Regiment, 2/9th, 2/10th & 2/12th Infantry Battalions, 2/25th Infantry Battion. 2/31st Infantry Battalion, 6th & 2/1st Australian Machine Gun Battalions, & the 7th Division Cavalry,
The infantry formations of the Division were as follows:
18th Infantry Brigade: 2/9th Battalion, 2/10th Battalion, 2/12th Battalion
21st Infantry Brigade: 2/14th Battalion, 2/16th Battalion, 2/27th Battalion
25th Infantry Brigade: 2/25th Battalion, 2/31st Battalion, 2/33rd Battalion
Artillery support was provided by the 2/4th, 2/5th and 2/6th Field Regiments.
Supporting troops were the 2/3rd Machine Gun Battalion, 2/2nd Pioneer Battalion, 7th Division Cavalry Regiment, and Medical units, Engineers and Base Troops.
