Armidale Teachers College Book of RemembrancePrint Page
The Book of Remembrance commemorates the staff and students of the Armidale Teachers College who died in service or were killed in action during World War Two.
It was at the 1946 Easter Reunion that the first volume of the Book of Remembrance was unveiled. A digitised facsimile copy of the College Book of Remembrance was dedicated 11 November 2000.
The Teachers College, Armidale, has compiled a College Book of Remembrance of all members who died or were killed on active service. This book will be dedicated at a service to be held in the College Auditorium on Good Friday afternoon at 5 o'clock, and the proceedings broadcast through local stations at Armidale, Inverell, Tamworth, Grafton and Lismore. This information we have from Mr. A. E. Dodds, of Bellimbopinni, whose son was a member of the College.
