Rudall Roll of HonourPrint Page

The honour roll commemorates those from the district who served in World War Two.
At a Welcome Home Social to returned service men, at Rudall, West Coast, an Honor Roll was unveiled, and included in its list names was that of the late Private Fred Cooper of Jerusalem. This soldier had spent sometime in the Rudall district, where he became well and favourably known. His quiet and unassuming manner won the respect and goodwill of all who knew him, and he was prominent in football. Residents regretted to know of his demise and the chairman of the Local Patriotic League (Mr F. H. Pearce) extends their sincere sympathy to his parents and other loved ones, with the hope that, some comfort will be derived from the knowledge that at least his name will be perpetuated in that community.
