Warrenbayne School Honour RollPrint Page
The wooden honour roll commemorates former students who served in World War Two.
On Thursday afternoon of last week, a Parent Day was held at the Warrenbayne school at which there was a good attendance. Opportunity was taken to witness the meeting of the Torch Club, which was formed for the purpose of pupils gaining a knowledge in citizenship, at the conclusion of which opportunity was taken by Mr W. McPherson to unveil an Honor Roll of the names of former pupils who served in the recent war. Those present were greatly impressed with the Honor Roll, which was the work of Mr G. Price (head teacher), and W. Lyford.
Benalla Ensign (Vic.), 27 September 1946.
