Scottish Voluntary Aid Detachment Honour Roll Print Page
The Scottish Voluntary Aid Detachment, led by its Commandant, Miss Beryl Robinson, marched to the Holy Trinity Church, Miller's Point, yesterday morning and dedicated a roll of honour to 42 ex-members of the detachment who served in the A.A.M.W.S. and the W.A.A.A.F.
The roll of honour was unveiled by Major Joyce Snelling. Assistant Controller, A.A.M.W.S., who was the first Commandant of the detachment. Before the dedication service Lieut. General F. H. Berryman, G.O.C. Eastern Command, accompanied by Col. A. M. Mcintosh. D.D.M.S., and Lieut.-Colonel Selwyn Nelson, State Controller, V.A.D., inspected the detachment.
