Leslie House School & Clemes College Honour RollPrint Page
The honour roll commemorates former students of Leslie House School and Clemes College who served in World War Two.
Old pupils of Leslie House School and Clemes College who served in the Second World War will be given a welcome home at the RSL Rooms, Hobart, at 6 pm on Aug. 1. The welcome, which is being arranged by the Clemes Memorial Fund Committee, will take the form of a buffet tea, and will be the first function of its kind in Tasmania for old pupils of a public school.
At a meeting of the Memorial Fund Committee recently it was reported that a roll of honour containing the names of all the men and women from the college who served during the war would be unveiled by Mr W. H. Clemes at the reunion. The honour roll eventually would be hung at Clemes House, New Town.
