Guildford State School Roll of HonourPrint Page
The honour roll commemorates former students of the school who served in World War One. It replaced the original roll, containing 17 names, which was unveiled on the 10th March 1916.
The honor roll was recently unveiled in the Guildford State school, and the names were published in the "Mail." but there was one omission, viz., Private Frank Noel Carter, son of Mr and Mrs S. Carter, of Kennedy's Gully. He enlisted in September, 1914. and went to the front as a member of the 4th Lipht Horse Field Ambulance, and is now in Egypt. A brother was killed in action.
