Cavendish Presbyterian Church Roll of HonourPrint Page
05-April-2018
Photographs supplied by Arthur Garland
The roll of honour commemorates those connected with the Presbyterian Church who served in World War One.
The honour roll was unveiled in 1918 and contained 46 names, ten of whom paid the supreme sacifice. Additional names were added at a later date.
The roll was previously in the St John's Presbyterian Church which was taken over by the Uniting Church in the 1970s. The church became a Lutheran Church in 1984 and the roll was transferred to the Uniting Church (formerly Methodist) in Scott Street.
