Bengworden State School Honour Roll Print Page
The wooden honour roll commemorates those from Bengworden School who served in World War One.
There was a large gathering at Bengworden on Wednesday last to take part in the unveiling of the Honour Board, a large sized one, made of blackwood. The names appear in gold lettering, and in the centre of the Board is inscribed the following:-"ln honour of those from this school who served the Empire in the Great War for King and country." Then follows the names. The Honour Board, which is worthy of the district, was unveiled by Cr. Deery, brother of the only fallen soldier whose name appeared on the Board.
