Photographs supplied by Ian Waters OAM
The brass honour roll commemorates those from the District who served in World War One.
Leyburn, November 9. A pleasing ceremony took place here on Saturday afternoon last, when Major Costello, M.L.A. for Carnarvon, unveiled the honor board which has been erected in memory of our lads who went to the front in the great war. The board, which is most artistically got up, is erected in the principal class-room of the State School.
