The honour roll commemorates those connected with the church and cricket club who served in World War One.
The honour roll was unveiled on the 10th March 1918 and contains the names of those from the Essendon South Methodist Church and the cricket club. The honour roll was unveiled by Mr H.J. Woods who had been wounded at Gallipoli.
