Leichhardt Public School Honour RollPrint Page 

Two marble honour rolls commemorate those who served in World War One. The supplementary roll was unveiled on the 26th August 1920. Funding was received in 2011 for the restoration of the roll.
The Minister for Education unveiled an honour roll at the Leichhardt Public School on Thursday. Mr. James stated that the children attending the Public schools had raised £126,000 towards the various patriotic funds.

In the absence, through illness, of the Minister for Public Instruction, the Solicitor General, Mr. R. Sproule, M.L.C., yesterday unveiled the supplementary honour roll of the Leichhardt Public School, at the request of the Leichhardt Parents and Citizens' Association, and also performed a tree-planting ceremony. The Minister was then entertained at lunch by the Mayor and citizens.
