The porch commemorates those from the Milton District who served in World War One.
The dedication ceremony in connection with the memorial porch at the Church of England was carried out by the Rev. D. J. Knox, Rector of Wollongong, assisted by the Rev. W. E. Coates, Rector of Milton. The porch is the gift of Mr. H. C. Blackburn to perpetuate the memory of men from the Milton district who served in the great war.
