Claremont Teachers College Roll of Honour Print Page 

The honour roll commemorates those from the college who served in World War One.
Claremont Teachers College Roll of Honour was unveiled on the 26th April 1916 at the same time as three memorial plaques were unveiled in memory of the ex-students who had fallen in World War One. The plaques and honour roll were unveiled by the Minister for Education , Mr .T Walker and the Director of Education, Mr Cecil Andrews. The honour roll still had to have the names of all those who had enlisted from the college engraved on the board which was made of hammered copper and oak. A total of 72 names had to be inscribed.
