Woodhill Honour RollPrint Page
The honour roll commemorates those who served in World War One. It was originally unveiled in 1916 and contained 28 names. Additional names were added at a later date.
BEAUDESERT, November 15. At a farewell social to Woodhill volunteers, held in the Veresdale School of Arts on Monday night, an honour board was unveiled by Mrs. Evedell, sen. The board is handsomely finished in silky oak, and was presented to the School of Arts by Mr. F. W. Wilbraham.The following names appeared on the board:— C. Morris, R. Morris, A. Newnham, L. O'Neill, H. O'Neill, R. Phipps, Quartermaine, B. C. C. Reynolds, J. Tulloch, D. Tulloch, R. Wortley, J. Wyatt, C. Young, R. Best, T. Brocklebank, J. Buckley, R. Crozier, B. B. Delpratt, C. Dungay, W. J. Everdell, T. Crozier, R. Evans, A. Gray, J. Ferguson, C. Harrisson, C. Herbert, V. A. Hinchcliffe, A. Millinger.
