The honour roll commemorates former students of the school who served in World War One.
BUNDABERG- May 23
The South Bundaberg State School honour roll containing the names of 250 past scholars who responded to the call of the Empire was unveiled this afternoon by the mayor (Alderman W Dunn) in the presence of a large and representative gathering. The names on the roll include four brothers, sons of Sergeant and Mrs Tom O`Neill (two of the sons having been killed), four sons of Mr and Mrs John Toft, four sons of Mr and Mrs W Cooper, three sons of the mayor and mayoress, three sons of Mr and Mrs M. Gahn (one killed), and two sons of Mr and A McIntosh (both killed).
