Rosewood P.A.F.S.O.A. Honour RollPrint Page
The honour roll commemorates those from the Lodge who served in World War One.
The roll was originally unveiled in the Congregational Church, Rosewood, by Brother G. Shillito (Grand Trustee) on the 7th April. Bro. Shillito said they had met to do honour to the brave lads who had fought our battles. One name on the board had the word "killed" printed opposite to it. It was good for us to inscribe the names on an honour board, but brave deeds would never die.
The Brisbane Courier, 9th April 1917.
