The marble honour roll commemorates nurses and soldiers who served in World War One.
Cardwell. May 17. The Premier's visit to this district was very successful. In spite of the inclemency of the weather, a large number of residents turned out to greet him. Before leaving Cardwell, Mr. Theodore unveiled a particularly fine roll of honour bearing the names of the nurses and soldier boys of Cardwell.
