St Oswald`s Sunday School Roll of HonourPrint Page
The framed paper honour roll commemorates the members of the Sunday School and of Trevallyn who served in World War One. It lists 51 names.
St. Oswald's Church Trevallyn, was crowded last evening on the occasion of the unveiling of a roll of honour to the memory of the men who have enlisted from Trevallyn for active service. Several of these were formerly members of the Sunday school, and it was from the school that the idea of the memorial originated. The unveiling was marked by the holding of a special service conducted by the rector (Rev. H. N. Baker) who also unveiled the honour roll.
Examiner (Launceston), 25th November 1915.
