The hall commemorates those who served in World War One.
The Ranelagh's Soldiers Memorial Hall as briefly related in Monday's "Mercury" was opened on Saturday afternoon by Lieut. Colonel C.H.Elliott, D.S.O. in the presence of over 1,000 people representative of all parts of the Huon district.
