Melrose Roll of HonourPrint Page
The wooden honour roll commemorates those who served in World War One.
The plaque, commemorating district members who enlisted in the 1914-18 war, is now completed, and was shown to committee members. It was decided to give an evening to relatives of those named on the roll. Friends and residents may attend. The R.S.L. will be asked to unveil the plaque and arrangements are being made to hold the ceremony soon.
