Government Printing Department Roll of HonourPrint Page
The wooden roll of honour commemorates the staff from the Government Printing Department who served in World War One. The roll was originally unveiled in 1915 with additional names being added at a later date.
A roll of honour has been placed in the Government Printing Office containing the names of those employees of the department who have enlisted for active service at the front. The names at present on the roll are as follows: - W. D. Mcintosh, H. R. Evans, E. Harris, A. Creswell, F. Christie, R. Boardman, A. Robertson, and L. Shea.
