Franklin Congregational Church Honour RollPrint Page
The honour roll from the former Franklin Congregational Church commemorates those who served in World War One. It lists 19 names.
The attention of our readers is drawn to the special service to be held at the Congregational Church on Sunday evening next when the roll of honour will be unveiled and an address will be given by the Pastor. Ten youths from this church have already enlisted and two have paid the supreme sacrifice.
Huon Times (Franklin), 18th December 1915.
Note : the “Tasmanian War Memorials Data Base” , compiled by Fred Thornett which is located at the State Library of Tasmania, contains a comprehensive listing of the names on this honour roll.
