West Arthur District Roll of HonourPrint Page
The honour roll commemorates those from the district who served in World War One.
West Arthur Honor Roll.—A very large gathering assembled at the Darkan Agricultural Hall last Friday evening, when a Roll of Honor (which is of a very handsome design) for the West Arthur Road Board district was unveiled by the member for the district, Mr E. B. Johnston, who delivered an intensely patriotic speech, dealing with the part the British Empire had played in the great world war, and eulogising Western Australia, and the Darkan district in particular, for the patriotic spirit it had displayed ever since the war broke out.
