Bungaree Station Memorial FontPrint Page
The font commemorates members of the congregation who died in service or were killed in action in World War One.
In 1923 Archdeacon Bussell dedicated two tablets in the church, in the presence of over 50 people. One tablet was in memory of George Charles Hawker, his wife Lady Hawker, and several of their children. The other tablet in St. Michael's is placed over the font, which is the war memorial of the church, and was given in memory of the members of the Bungaree congregation who fell in the Great War.
Chronicle (Adelaide), 3rd October 1929.
