The honour roll commemorates employees of the Adelaide Corporation who served in World War One.
A war roll of honour in connection with the Adelaide City Corporation and which contained the names of 25 men who had enlisted was unveiled in the vestibule of the Town Hall on the 18th February 1918 by the Mayor, Mr C.R. J.Glover.
