Shire of Ballarat (Learmonth) Honour AvenuePrint Page 
The Avenue of Honour commemorates those who served in World One. It comprises of 222 trees including English Oak (Quercus robur), English Elm (Ulmus procera), Dutch Elm (Ulmus x hollandica), Scotch Elm (Ulmus glabra), and Purple Elm (Ulmus x hollandica 'Purpurascens')
The Honour Avenue memorial wall was unveiled by Sir Edward "Weary" Dunlop on 1st August 1993. The wall lists the names of 234 fallen and returned soldiers who fought in World War One.
