The wooden honour roll commemorates those who served in World War One.
The Garvoc Roll of Honour was unveiled at the Garvoc Mechanics Hall on the 5th July 1916 by Mr J.C. Manifold M.H.R, the Mayor of Warrnambool. A second unveiling of the roll by Mr Deany M.L.A. took place on the 24th February 1917 when a further 12 names were added. Several more names were added to the roll in 1918. Warrnambool Standard, 27th June1916, 26th February 1917.
