Foster State School Roll of HonourPrint Page 
The honour roll commemorates former students of the school who served in World War One.
A very pleasant day, and one that is likely to remain in memory for many years, was spent at the Foster State School on Wednesday, 23rd Oct., 1918, the occasion being the unveiling of the School Honor Roll. The school area was appropriately decorated with the numerous flags of the Allies, and the fact of the names of past scholars, who have responded to the call of their King and gone forth to fight, our battles, being on the Board, was responsible for the very large crowd that attended as a glowing tribute to their action.
