Essendon Honour RollPrint Page 

A set of honour rolls commemorate those from the Essendon District who served in World War One.
The ceremony of unveiling a set of six honor boards, containing the names of some 1200 of the Essendon boys who served in the late war will be performed by Brigadier-General Elliott, this evening, at 8 o clock, in the town hall, Moonee Ponds. At the same time Brigadier-General H. W. Lloyd will unveil a special board given by Essendon Citizens' Military Association in honor of Brigadier-General Elliott. The mayor of Essendon (Cr. Arthur Fenton) extends a cordial general invitation to the Essendon citizens.
