Avenue of HonourPrint Page 

The Cambrian Hill Avenue of Honour was originally planted in 1917 with 40 trees to commemorate those who served in World War One. An additional planting of 20 trees took place in 1919. The trees were planted on both sides of the main road.
The Avenue of Honour was officially opened on the 24th November 1917 with the extension to the avenue officially opened on the 25th January 1919.
