Ardmona War MemorialPrint Page
The monument commemorates those who died in service or were killed in action during World War One.
In 2017, the school applied for funding to restore the memorial and add additional names including those who served in World War Two.
On Sunday, May 22, the unveiling of the monument in memory of fallen soldiers will take place at Ardmona. Brig.-Gen. Elliot has consented to be present and perform the ceremony. Messrs. J. Allan. M.L.A.. and W. C. Hill, M.H.R., are also expected to attend. The Shepparton Military Band will be present. War service medals are to be distributed, and returned soldiers are asked to parade in uniform.
