The marble font commemorates those who died in service or were killed in action during World War One.

Mr. Murdoch McLeod, of Wellington, is about to present a christening font to St. Andrew's Church, Wellington. It will be of marble, and on a tablet the names of the members of the congregation who were killed in the war. The font will cost about £50.
